Modeh Ani — Morning Prayer Alarm

Modeh Ani is designed to work without accounts, advertising, analytics, tracking, cloud sync, or developer-operated servers. The app stores the information it needs on your device so it can schedule your alarm and show the correct prayer experience.
Modeh Ani may store the following information locally on your device:
This information is stored on your device. We do not operate an account system or backend service that receives this data.
Location permission is optional. If you grant location permission, Modeh Ani uses your location to calculate Shabbat and Yom Tov timing for your area and to display the saved city name.
When city lookup is performed, your device may send coordinates directly to Apple's location and reverse-geocoding services. This request goes from your device to Apple, not through 802 Flamingo servers. Apple's handling of that request is governed by Apple's privacy policies.
You can decline location permission. If you do, Modeh Ani uses a conservative no-location fallback for Shabbat and holiday skip behavior.
Modeh Ani uses bundled audio assets included with the app. The current app does not record microphone audio, upload audio files, or send audio files to 802 Flamingo servers.
If a future version adds in-app custom audio import or upload, this policy and the App Store privacy disclosures should be updated before that version is released.
Modeh Ani uses Apple's AlarmKit framework for system-level alarms on supported iPhones. The app may also schedule local notifications as a backup reminder. Alarm and notification behavior is handled on your device through iOS.
Modeh Ani does not include third-party advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or data broker sharing.
802 Flamingo does not sell personal information and does not share app data with advertisers or analytics providers. Optional location lookups may be handled by Apple's system services as described above.
App settings remain on your device until you change them, reset them, or delete the app. You can manage app permissions in iOS Settings. Deleting the app removes its locally stored app data from the device according to iOS behavior.
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.
We may update this policy if Modeh Ani's features or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when the policy changes.
